Lack of will power

Lately I haven't been eating Paleo, but just... generally weird. I haven't got groceries because, well, i've ran out of money. Fuck.

Today...

Today I woke up late. Yes, well, avoiding home, mostly.
I woke up, then went for a run, and then I got back I did deadlifts and push ups. Not much.
I then went shopping and after that I went straight to capoeira.

My back hurts...

I might have overkilled it on Tuesday, but it's getting better.
Also, Jessi sat on me and nearly killed me. She wants us to spar some day. I don't wanna get beat up.
My back hurts...

My good old apples.

Apples, apples, apples. I can't believe the crazyness that this game started with.
It had been forever that I blogged right after working out while holding an apple in my hand.
Lately I've felt lots of good results. I'm very happy.
I've been staying late at school working out and doing homework. So I think I'm doing good. If I go home early, things won't be as productive.
I got a midterm tomorrow and another one on friday. I hope they go well.

The ThanksGiving aftermath.

This weekend I've successfully undone everything I've worked for.
I've eaten sugars, fats, carbs, everything. In massive amounts. Today is the first day of clean up after the thanks giving mess.
I did enjoy eating with my family. Thanksgiving was the one dinner that we all had together without fighting at all. It was very enjoyable. I wish they were like that.
But alright, back to the game. I was surprised I got some acrobatics thingy down. Goddamn it I was surprised. I gotta work on that again. I really don't wanna lose that.

Alrighty

I haven't updated this in a while.
I've been working out on a regular basis again, and its been over a month since I've been attempting to eat paleo style.
It's very hard though. Not the eating part, but having my family simply support me and the things I do. When it comes down to it, I'm alone on my quest.
My brother has successfully wasted 200 dollars on food supplements, proteins, and whatever... when he drinks meal replacements as a regular beverage WITH his breakfast and stuff. I have tried to help, but he just won't listen.
There are certain things I have done one by one that have given me very fast noticeable results.

First, quit smoking. Lung capacity increases like hell when you do. After one smoke, I wasn't able to run much.

Second, drinking often is bad. I never really went for it, but I've ran with a can of beer in my stomach, and it feels heavy.

Third, dropping soft drinks. On average, they contain 40-something grams of sugar. Might as well drink water.

Fourth, stop buying sweets and stuff. If you don't buy them, you won't eat them.
And you'll have tons of money to spend on other things.

Fifth, bring lunch with you.
People say eating paleo is expensive... but for me it really isn't. It's very affordable. It's just hard to switch. The lunch I take with me is usually beef and apples. Weekly, we're looking at about 25 dollars.
If I was buying lunch at school, I would be looking at about 50 dollars minimum.
I've dropped lots of weight, I'm currently (I think) 93 kilograms.

Wednesday

I attempted to teach two guys some capoeira in school to see if I get to train outside of class. I really don't see it happening, but it's worth the try.
My weight is still low, so is my food intake.
Last night I had a shit ton of carbs. I gotta clear that out. It was my cheat day, which I doubt I'll be able to afford for long.

October 3rd 2011

I think I've stopped losing weight. I'm at 95 kilos, trying to eat paleo style still.
My food intake is somewhat low, but it's very good. My hunger is tolerable, and my energy levels are somewhat stable.
My mom was scared of me getting vitamin deficiencies from eating little, so I bought a bottle of centrum forte and am going to see a doctor in the near future to see if my crap blood levels are doing fine. I know that, with all the meat I've eaten, my iron levels should be doing great.
Other than mild lactose intolerance from this diet, I doubt there is any negative things about it.
However, yes, there's the social factor of not being able to eat out with people much. But whatever.
