i want to kick ass

I ran this morning again.
The internal bruises from the wipe out seem to be gone. Now it's just little things and the big scratches. I can run alright again.
Tomorrow I'll run again.

I hate being friend-zoned

I haven't worked out lately due to the bike wipe-out last week. My knee refuses to close up and so does my elbow.
All my left side, shoulders, hips, leg and arm, are kinda busted. I'm still going to class, but I can't do much.
I hope everything heals up soon. I want to run again.

i want a helmet!

Running every day works like a charm. After a bit, your lungs get used to it, and your legs hold up.
...that is if you don't have a wipe-out on a racing bicycle. My shitty knee is now bruised and missing a large skin patch. So is my right elbow. After this close call, I'm seriously interested in buying a helmet.
However, I've gone to class and trained.
I'll run as soon as I'm through this.

Friday night.

Runs every day seems to be working well.
That's all for tonight.

today's after math

Today I did my 5 am run and went straight to work. Got back home, rested for a bit, went over to Macaquinho's and had the greatest idea ever: work out.
I was dead by the end of it.
THEN I had my class. My muscles are all dead. I guess it's a good thing.

4th run. I think.

Last night I did 50 abs and 50 supermans and earlier in the day I did lateral dumbell raises and push-ups.
I just finished today's run. I read that glycogen levels are low when you wake up, so I think what I'm doing is about right.
It feels like my cardiovascular endurance has increased by a lot. Just today I did the whole run without stopping on the way there and on the way back I stopped about 4 times for breaks of less than one minute.
I have another deadline too. The Algonquin trip, which should be on the 31st. I want to feel good for that trip. I think this is going to help.
I have work in a bit less than 2 hours. Then, at 7:30 pm I have my class. I think there will be an improvement in my endurance in class. I need to see how this is helping and how I can use it to my advantage.
Later!

3rd run. Life in a flask!

Well, I seriously didn't think I could run like this.
It felt really good. I did it at 5:15 am. Got back, showered, and I'm now waiting until 7 to go to work. Today it was a bit harder. I felt like I wasn't fully awake. And I left my music. It's nothing to a normal person, but me, without music? Good one.
Either way, when running, I kept thinking of old times. Gasping for air, mestre yelling "DON'T DIE ON ME GUYS" and some other people that have helped me push my limits.
I can do this.
I can't wait until I make this public.
And crap, it's hard to avoid writing personal stuff on this. xD

2nd run

Yesterday's run make a huge change. My lungs were clear and I could do half the run without stopping.
I guess waking up and going to work 5 hours before I was supposed to start did make a change.
I don't know if I will be able to go to class tonight. However, after the past runs, I wouldn't feel that bad about it.
It's on.

Being friend-zoned is annoying.

Hi guys, Mau here.
This year feels like it passed by really quickly. Next thing I know and I'll be back in college and it'll be new years again and whatnot.
It always feels like my time has been wasted. And I still feel overweight. However, my stamina has increased a lot.
Just last night I ran all the way from my house to costco and back. That's about a half an hour jog. Well, half-jogging half-gasp-for-air-jog. It still counts, right?
I'm getting back on the whole plan.
The batizado is coming up. Afro-fest was a wake-up call. This year's batizado can't be disappointing.

July 7th. Warmth.

Recently I've worked out. Not as much, but I have. Just going down to spencer smith right after work in the sun, making all the way to confederation park (about 10km in between), and then heading back to my house, is a decent work out.
When I get to the lift bridge, my side stop, I work on abs and push-ups.
Yeah, it's all fun. And the warmth gives me energy.

Like I said before, I felt the clock ticking. I know that time is flying by and I am not intending to waste it.
Just today, after working a 7-2 shift, I rode down to the lake and did some pushups and some ab work.
Then, the ride back, was killer. But it's alright. I got some rest and I went out for a jog.
It's funny, time flies when you're running. I remember leaving at about 4:20 and now that I realize it's 5:01ish.
I'm sweating like a pig. But it's awesome.
I tried interval running, which consists of a warm-up run, a balls-in full-speed run, then a recovery jog. It felt alright.
Now I'll do some weights and then I'll have my class. I hope I'm not pushing myself too much.
But I feel like I can do it.
And I can do it tomorrow too. I'll try my best.
Later!

back. and all cool.

Today after work I felt the need of working out again. Pushups, sit ups, squats, and some deadlifts. It's not much, but in addition to my bike rides and work it does add up.
I need to keep doing this. I want to keep it up. I know I can.
