Smart, funny, ugly, awkward.

Today I don't think I've over-eaten.
My breakfast was crackers with strawberry jelly and black tea. Lunch at work was a sandwich (ham, cheddar, lettuce, some sauce thingy, kinda salty) on white bread, a coke zero, and a muffin. After work I had a muffin, and just now I'm having dinner. Rice, some salad-like thinger with cut-up eggs, tuna, diced vegetables, and mustard. And water lots of it. And rice pudding.
I also worked out today. Well, not really worked out, but went to my class and tried my best.

Eh, bluenotes.

I went to bluenotes last night. They had shirts for dirt cheap and I thought I got one. ...sadly enough, in douchebag size, a large sized shirt is still too small for me. Such a piss off!
Well, it was just 2.50. I'm sure, worst case scenario, it can be a good undershirt or a good cleaning rag.

Hm, post food-poisoning.

According to somethign somebody said, I didn't get food poisoning. I got stomach flu. Regardless. I'm glad to be better.
Now, before I had that I was able to eat greasy stuff no problem. Today I went to have the classic breakfast (scrambled liquid eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast) and struggled with the eggs. What the hell, right? But I assume that it's just non-healthy shit that I kinda should avoid. I'm using the food poisoning after-effect to keep myself from eating stuff that my stomach wouldn't (or well, shouldn't, anyways) be able to eat. Before I was able to eat that no problem.
My breakfasts have also decreased. I used to eat a lot for breakfast, and now I'm down to crackers and tea. Whatever, works for me. I'll update after.

Today's cards!

Today's cards sound a bit better than yesterday's. Yesterday I got swords, right? Swords are always bad news. Inverted swords are usually worse news. Whenever a reading is really bad, I get scared and shuffle again.
Today's reading says:
In any given time, you can only control your possible options. Your own possible optinons, and from that only come your own possible outcomes. And through this, bad experiences may come (present). Life can be a bit rough. Well, it kinda is. But by enduring, you can work your judgement and your strength in general. The one card says I'm a passionate protector. Lol, cards.

I'm a lot better.

Last night was the first time after food poisoning that I ate something and felt good about it. I made me a bacon-lettuce-tomato sandwich. It was alright. I'm paranoid of anything that looks like bread, but I guess that'll go away with time.
I haven't worked out either. I haven't felt good and the weather really isn't appropiate.
However, this year is the first time that my weight doesn't shoot straight up after December.
My progress has kinda froze. But should be fine. As soon as school starts I think I have the first weeks to be able to work out at mohawk.

Shitty situation.

By shitty, I mean shitty. Food poisoning. Shit. Lots and lots of it. And puke. And stomach cramps. Man, today my stomach was fully empty. Anything I put in it, even liquids, would just go back up in a few minutes. It's terrible.
Needless to say, I didn't work out today.
Nor Yesterday.
Today's the first time ever that I feel like just crashing while standing and not getting up. But obviously, I hate the idea of me seeming so weak, so I just gathered energy (menergy, mind you) to just walk straight and make myself look awesome for when I went to the doctor.
Due to this looking good shit, the doc took long. I guess they treat you last if you don't seem like you're dying.
I still feel shitty. But the diarrhea and the puking are gone. Thank god for gravol. I hate puking.

Second cold run

Yesterday I didn't run. My lungs were hurting and I was scared that it was because of the cold air.
But no, it was from me taking kicks on the back instead of my arms like I should.
Today's run was nice. I changed my route to avoid icy spots and ended up running longer. I ran, got home, showered, and then hung out with the twins and Macaquinho.
Man, I missed that guy. He's sick.
The twins are awesome too.
Then, after that, I went to capoeira and did my usual class. After, I had dinner at Macaquinho's house.
Today there's an eclipse. I wish I could see it with Mel. I hope she's well.

First Cold Run

Last night was my last exam for the first semester. This means I got 3 weeks off. Yay!
No. Not weeks off. I work during those days. I work out during those days. No time off for me.
These 15 days are to fix the damage done to my body from less sleep than required, muffin-a-day diet, and other things that a full-time student is bound to.
Know what? It was kinda nice. By running out, I felt something I hadn't felt before: that of breaking a limit of mine. Running in the cold? Me? Back in Colombia this would be crazy.
I dressed in layers. I got some tight underpants and undershirt, and wore those under my old cammo pants. For my torso, I wore that undershirt (athletic works, kind of a nylon/spandex thinger), a nylon shirt to help release heat and sweat, and a sweater.
My music broke at the beginning, but it's alright. I could still endure the run.
This is possible. I thought it wasn't.
I thought I needed months of conditioning before running in the cold. Maybe I am already that conditioned, but what the heck. I'm happy. I have to make the most I can out of these 3 weeks.
It's the only time I'll get for myself.

I haven't kept up with the blog...

But I'm still trying.
School is taking most of my time. I had to drop capoeira for a few weeks. I'm working out every day again.
It's kinda disappointing that I wasn't able to do the batizado and get a new cord. This year I can truly say I was ready to be challenged for it. But oh well... maybe that's why I'm taking a break. But it's alright. I'm good with it.

Wednesday, October 27, 2010

I feel like it's been ages.

But it hasn't been over 3 weeks.
I haven't worked out other than in class. I feel like I've gained weight. But not the bad kind. However, I got to watch it.
I'm during a break from school. One week. I'm scared it isn't enough to catch up with all the stuff.
As soon as I'm back in school, I'm hitting the gym again.

Monday, October 11, 2010

I haven't worked out in 5 days. I just started feeling well 2 days ago. It's all good. I'll catch back up tomorrow.

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

shit, son!

Today's the first time that I feel overworked in ages. This morning I woke up at 6 to go to my class at 9. My breakfast was crackers and cheese. And a cup of tea. And another one that I chugged on the way to school. There I had my math class. At 10am, I got a coffee and worked on my CAD homework. Then I worked out. I did 30 minutes cardio. It was a pretty good run. I did mostly at 6 miles per hour. Pretty good for my usual speed. I did abs, I think I did chest as well. I forget.
Eitherway, I had my class as well. I'm really tired.

Tuesday, October 5, 2010

october 5th

Today I worked my back mostly.
I warmed up with 15 minutes of rowing. I felt too tired, so I didn't do the 30 minute cardio. Tomorrow I'll do it.
Then I did front rows at 50 lbs. Fast pull and slow release.
Then I went on the back extension thingy. 50 of them.
Then I did again front rows but at 100 lbs, 10 of them.
Then 30 more back extension thingies.
I also did 90 crunches, the crazy ones with different leg positions.
It was an okay workout.
Tomorrow I'll do the 30 minute cardio.
Damn, I feel so good

Sunday, October 3, 2010

picture time i guess

Today I felt a bit of a confidence rush and thought I'd put a clear picture of what I look like.
I'm glad my manboobs are reducing in size. I also see my top four abs. But I still got a long way to go.
I think my arms are okay. I love that my shirts are tight at my biceps.
Tomorrow I should be working my back, if I can.
And I got homework to do.
Later!

Saturday, October 2, 2010

heh, saturday

I didn't go to my class today. I woke up feeling like a shit that had been shat out over and over again.
This coming week I intend on working my back. I'll start on Tuesday though. I have to see Mel on Monday.

Thursday, September 30, 2010

bah, edit.

I've been sick for a while. Today it really hit me again.
However, I worked out before I felt sick.
I did my half hour cardio, then i did dips, back crunches, and my 80 set of ab crunches. I think my back will be a lot stronger by Saturday.

Wednesday, September 29, 2010

Today it was a rather long day. I was done at 5pm and was short of money yesterday. So, yeah...
However, I realized that the difference between other attempts and this, is that whenever I don't feel like going to the gym to work out, I just shut up and go. Know why? Because I got nothing to lose. I got the world to win.

I'm beginning to like the rowing machine instead of just running. This works my back as I warm up. I kinda like it.
I did 10 minutes of rowing and 20 minutes of jogging on a threadmill.
Then I did my ab stuff, on whatchamagonnacallit, that you do dips on? Yeah, straight leg raises, then lift my knees as high as I can. Ten of each. Then I think I did push-ups. I'm not sure. I probably did.
I did abs though.
I just did 25 push-ups out of boredom.
Tomorrow I'll go at it again.

Monday, September 27, 2010

i wish i could tell you so many things

Today was a rather odd day.
I did 10 minutes cardio and then some weights at the school's actual gym, but then i found it rather boring. I went to the school's fitness center right after and did my usual workout on top of that.
I feel nice. I'm just too tired for anything.
Tomorrow I'm going at it again.

Saturday, September 25, 2010

September 25th

I picked running every day back up. Half hour every day. Only thing that's different is that since I started school again, I haven't watched what I eat that much.

Tuesday, September 14, 2010

School!

A long time ago, I made a list of things I needed to achieve by the end of this summer.
All of them, except getting a drivers license were achieved. I'm proud.
I'm now a full-time student at Mohawk College. Mechanical Engineering Technology. I'm happy.
I hadn't worked out because of personal circumstances. No, not lazyness. Somebody close to me is going through hell, and I felt in need of stopping my workouts in order to support her. I'll risk it.
I am still watching what I eat. And I'm still trying to be active.
And, according to people, the results are noticeable.
I will try to keep this blog updated more often. It's been quite a while since my last post.

I want our bodies to merge into each other, and to become a shapeless ball of love, completeness, and belonging.

I ran this morning again after my hiking trip and after the week cheat.
This week, working out is entirely up to me since my teacher didn't send out the message for if anyone wanted to still hold a class with me.
It's alright, I guess I'll prove myself this way.
I'm sweating like a pig, by the way. I'm gonna go shower before work.

i want to kick ass

I ran this morning again.
The internal bruises from the wipe out seem to be gone. Now it's just little things and the big scratches. I can run alright again.
Tomorrow I'll run again.

Sunday, July 25, 2010

I hate being friend-zoned

I haven't worked out lately due to the bike wipe-out last week. My knee refuses to close up and so does my elbow.
All my left side, shoulders, hips, leg and arm, are kinda busted. I'm still going to class, but I can't do much.
I hope everything heals up soon. I want to run again.

Thursday, July 22, 2010

i want a helmet!

Running every day works like a charm. After a bit, your lungs get used to it, and your legs hold up.
...that is if you don't have a wipe-out on a racing bicycle. My shitty knee is now bruised and missing a large skin patch. So is my right elbow. After this close call, I'm seriously interested in buying a helmet.
However, I've gone to class and trained.
I'll run as soon as I'm through this.

Friday, July 16, 2010

Friday night.

Runs every day seems to be working well.
That's all for tonight.

Wednesday, July 14, 2010

today's after math

Today I did my 5 am run and went straight to work. Got back home, rested for a bit, went over to Macaquinho's and had the greatest idea ever: work out.
I was dead by the end of it.
THEN I had my class. My muscles are all dead. I guess it's a good thing.

4th run. I think.

Last night I did 50 abs and 50 supermans and earlier in the day I did lateral dumbell raises and push-ups.
I just finished today's run. I read that glycogen levels are low when you wake up, so I think what I'm doing is about right.
It feels like my cardiovascular endurance has increased by a lot. Just today I did the whole run without stopping on the way there and on the way back I stopped about 4 times for breaks of less than one minute.
I have another deadline too. The Algonquin trip, which should be on the 31st. I want to feel good for that trip. I think this is going to help.
I have work in a bit less than 2 hours. Then, at 7:30 pm I have my class. I think there will be an improvement in my endurance in class. I need to see how this is helping and how I can use it to my advantage.
Later!

Tuesday, July 13, 2010

3rd run. Life in a flask!

Well, I seriously didn't think I could run like this.
It felt really good. I did it at 5:15 am. Got back, showered, and I'm now waiting until 7 to go to work. Today it was a bit harder. I felt like I wasn't fully awake. And I left my music. It's nothing to a normal person, but me, without music? Good one.
Either way, when running, I kept thinking of old times. Gasping for air, mestre yelling "DON'T DIE ON ME GUYS" and some other people that have helped me push my limits.
I can do this.
I can't wait until I make this public.
And crap, it's hard to avoid writing personal stuff on this. xD

Monday, July 12, 2010

2nd run

Yesterday's run make a huge change. My lungs were clear and I could do half the run without stopping.
I guess waking up and going to work 5 hours before I was supposed to start did make a change.
I don't know if I will be able to go to class tonight. However, after the past runs, I wouldn't feel that bad about it.
It's on.

Being friend-zoned is annoying.

Hi guys, Mau here.
This year feels like it passed by really quickly. Next thing I know and I'll be back in college and it'll be new years again and whatnot.
It always feels like my time has been wasted. And I still feel overweight. However, my stamina has increased a lot.
Just last night I ran all the way from my house to costco and back. That's about a half an hour jog. Well, half-jogging half-gasp-for-air-jog. It still counts, right?
I'm getting back on the whole plan.
The batizado is coming up. Afro-fest was a wake-up call. This year's batizado can't be disappointing.

July 7th. Warmth.

Recently I've worked out. Not as much, but I have. Just going down to spencer smith right after work in the sun, making all the way to confederation park (about 10km in between), and then heading back to my house, is a decent work out.
When I get to the lift bridge, my side stop, I work on abs and push-ups.
Yeah, it's all fun. And the warmth gives me energy.

Like I said before, I felt the clock ticking. I know that time is flying by and I am not intending to waste it.
Just today, after working a 7-2 shift, I rode down to the lake and did some pushups and some ab work.
Then, the ride back, was killer. But it's alright. I got some rest and I went out for a jog.
It's funny, time flies when you're running. I remember leaving at about 4:20 and now that I realize it's 5:01ish.
I'm sweating like a pig. But it's awesome.
I tried interval running, which consists of a warm-up run, a balls-in full-speed run, then a recovery jog. It felt alright.
Now I'll do some weights and then I'll have my class. I hope I'm not pushing myself too much.
But I feel like I can do it.
And I can do it tomorrow too. I'll try my best.
Later!

Friday, July 2, 2010

back. and all cool.

Today after work I felt the need of working out again. Pushups, sit ups, squats, and some deadlifts. It's not much, but in addition to my bike rides and work it does add up.
I need to keep doing this. I want to keep it up. I know I can.

Monday, June 28, 2010

well, shit.

I haven't worked out in a regular basis in a while.
I had some serious personal issues to deal with, and now every time I get home from work, I'm too tired to do anything.
However, the batizado is coming up, and I believe it's time to get off my ass and work for it.
I'll update this soon.

May 26

Today I did get to work out with Macaquinho.
Most of it was upper strength. Lots of push-ups.
This and awesome sunny bike rides.
Awesome.

May 25th.

I still haven't followed my regular workouts in a while. Work drains me.
However, I still try to do useful stuff with the warm weather.
I ride every day.
To work, back home, back out, back home.
I shall start working out soon, hopefully this week.
I might get back to class this week.
However, like I said, I still need time.

May 14th

I just finished today's whole body workout.
I tried doing it in the morning, however I felt in pain for it.
So I went to work and then I rode for a while.
Now that I got home I realized my right shoulder was hurting, and the only thing I had done before other than biking was dive bomber pushups, and realized that something must have been wrong.
So I did my research, and THIS is how you do a dive bomber pushup.

I did it with my busted shoulder and it doesn't hurt.
So, note to self: change the dive bomber pushup into that.
Other than that I did some deadlifts, lateral dumbell raises, and some dumbell flies, this in addition to my whole body workout.
I feel good about today.
Later!

May 14th.

Last night, I left everything forlast minute.
I did my ab/back workout right before going to sleep.
Today it should be nice out, so I might top today's full body workout with a bike ride after work.
Bye!

Thursday, May 13, 2010

May 13th.

Hi!
Yesterday I forgot to update the blog. I did my full body workout, the one with the squats and leglifts. I passed on the burpees. However, I added an extra set of pushups and some squats for it.
I also tried to work my chest. It's been sore for a while from doing so many chest exercises.
I think this is going well.
Today's workout should be abs. I will update this when I do it. Or if I forget, tomorrow.
Later!

May 12th

Hey!
I haven't stopped working out on a regular basis.
Last night I did my Tuesday workout, the upper-muscle workout with the handstand pushups and the remaining tons of pushups.
I only finished 2 sets though. I had to take care of something.
Today I should do my full body workout. I'll update this after I'm done with it.
Later!

Monday, May 10, 2010

Monday, may 10th.,

I think today it's two weeks since I started.
Improvement isn't that visible. However, I feel it. I think it's great.
Today I did my usual Monday workout, except that I was upstairs and didn't want to piss my neighbours off, so I didn't do the jumping jacks.
In addition to that, I did some more ab-work and lifted some weights.
It seems like I'm doing fine!
I just have to get over the tired feeling of after-work.
I have to still work out regardless of me being tired from work.
Later!

Sunday, May 9, 2010

Sunday, may 9th.

I hadn't worked out as much lately because finally i've gotten shifts at work, and that left me spent.
I managed to sneak in bikerides, or well, even going to work and back, plus whatever i could sneak in.
Today though, I got a text that gave me tons of motivation. It's nice when you know you aren't exactly alone in achieving your goals. It's nice when you know there's others that want you to achieve those goals.
Today I don't even know how much I worked out.
I know I did lateral dumbell raises, push ups, deadlifts, worked abs, worked more abs, then more lateral dumbell raises, and i don't know, it's been 44 minutes since I started working out. It's nice.
Later!

Friday, May 7, 2010

May 7th, well, May 6th late night.

I haven't left this blog behind.
I've been really busy. However I do get some time to get cardio done each day.
I think doing cardio exercises everyday will help a lot, even if I cannot complete my daily workouts.
Still, the goal is to do my cardio AND my workouts.

Monday, May 3, 2010

ONE WEEK =D

I just did my monday workout, the one with the dive-bomber pushups, kick outs, squats, leglifts, and burpees. however, i'm not as tired from it. i think i can do one more rep of that. or go jogging. whichever. i'll update this after.
OH SNAP I FORGOT today's one week since i started this.
And I feel the difference.
I'll post numbers in a bit.

Sunday, May 2, 2010

Sunday night!

It's fun to know that the warm weather helps me keep warm.
Just today we biked at 40kph on flat surface while rushing before a thunderstorm hit us. It was awesome. Then got a flat tire.
Again, bike rides are awesome cardio for me. This is because I actually like riding my bike.
Next thing I knew it's that it was 10:30pm and I was getting home.
I don't mean to brag, but nice work, me!

May 2nd. Sunday

Hey, tomorrow is gonna be one week since i started this crazy thing. I feel great. I feel the improvement.
I eat a lot less than I did before. It seems that the straight-apple days made me realize how much food intake I actually need.
I guess not eating much for some days will also shrink the size of your stomach too, right?
However it is, yeah, my food intake is smaller than before.
To celebrate tomorrow my one week of whatchyamagonnacallthis, i will get on the scale and post results.
Last time I got on that scale it said I was about 106 kilograms. That being about two hundred and twentysomething pounds.
This is on an inaccurate scale. I will use it for the purpose of this blog.
Heh this is the first time I've felt such a huge change in my body and in my personality.
I have tried to get stuff done. Documentation and work related stuff. And schoolwise. I finally found a program I like! I'm excited.
And I can't wait to get back to my capoeira class.
BUT YEAH okay, today's entry.
I thought Saturday and Sunday were gonna be my rest days, but nooooo, I knew I couldn't do that.
I just made an addition to the Macaquinho workout program. Today I did deadlifts. I aimed for 10 in a row. Then this was followed by a superset of 20 kick-outs. Then lateral dumbell raises followed by a superset of pushups. However, using the same dumbells.
Then after this i felt warmed up, so I did a little workout with two dumbell bars i found a loooong time ago along with all my weights and used them as kali sticks, and was working that basic sequence that we were taught.
It was fun.
OKAY i shall update this next time. Tomorrow. with numbers! DA DADA DAAAA

Saturday

Hey guys, it's me again.
For today I might just do some cardio.
Bike around, run, whatever. It's all good.

Friday still.

I just got home from riding my bike and whatever. Mostly hanging out. It's fun.
If you like biking, it's a good form of exercise. I could ride for entire hours non-stop and really enjoy it.

Friday, April 30, 2010

April 30, after-workout

Hey guys.
I just finished Macaquinho's ab/core workout for the day.
Today's workout consisted of:
30 kick-outs, 20 supermans, 1 minute plank position, 50 leg raises and 50 side-to-sides.
Whenever I do the side-to-sides i hold a 5kg sand weight, so I end up pretty dead after it. However, it's a good workout.
I went on a bikeride earlier today, and I intend to go on another one in a bit.
After doing the apples thing, I've realized that it takes less food for me to feel satisfied. I'm also increasing my water ingestion.
I think it's healthy.
I'll be doing some cardio after hopefully.
Later!

Day 5.

I forget to do yesterday's workout.
Well, I didn't, I was just really tired.
However, I can use today's cardio to warm up for my ab workout.
The cardio was already posted. That's the one with the kick outs, squats, leg lifts, etc. The ab workout is more like side-to-sides, leg raises, cool stuff. I'll post the workouts after I'm done with them. Later!

Thursday, April 29, 2010

day whatever. I think it's 4th.

And I think my mood has improved. I still feel like shit, but it's better than yesterday. Today's supposed to be abdominal workout. I haven't done any cardio today.
I just ate a slice of bread with ricotta cheese and a glass of milk for breakfast.
And a sample-sized cup of coffee.
I'll update this with today's workout after.
It's about 12:30. I got home about 15 minutes ago.
I just had some soup with rice in it. Home-cooked food isn't bad for any diet. Just make sure it's not really greasy. HOWEVER, consuming fat is still necessary. Otherwise your body will go like "oh noes" and will hold on to its fat. [Macaquinho]
The bike ride was good, buuuut my pants ripped.
By the shin. Just before I got home.
There's red hot chili peppers for that.

Wednesday, April 28, 2010

Wednesday night.

I really got no encouragement whatsoever. People only get encouragement to do things when they rub it all on everybody else's faces.
"LOOK GUYS I'M ON A DIET"
-WOW GOOD LUCK.
assholes.
It's why I'm doing this beforehand.
I did some deadlifts and lateral dumbell raises.
I'm off for a bikeride. I might see a buddy on the way.
Later.
I just finished my work out. Today, Macaquinho's workout was just cardio, so that's what I did.
20 dive bomber push-ups,
20 kick outs,
20 squats,
20 leg-lifts,
and 20 burpees. only one set.
I don't feel like it's enough. I'll probably do some dead-lifts or something else as well.
I still don't feel encouragement. I want to do stuff because I feel I can take more.
I can always do more. It's on.
I thought it would be nice to have some encouragement from Shinigami Ryuk, whom will kill for apples.

Photobucket

Ryuk, what the shit, you're ugly.

Day 3, ugh.

I have no motivation whatsoever.
The idea of this weight loss thing just came at the worst time possible. Or did the worst time possible came as soon as I had this idea. I don't even know.
Apples, god damn. I always try to have an apple near me when I write this.
I went out for a walk, made some vital phone calls, I looked for work again, and I forget to work out. I have to do my work out. That's the only way this might work in the end.
I wish I wasn't the only one doing this. Maybe I could find encouragement in somebody else going through what I'm doing. But the only encouragement I have is looking into a mirror and wonder about the results.
I'll go do my work out. Later

Day 3

Today I've eaten two little thingies made out of only flour and water, and I'm gonna eat my damn apple and a coffee for breakfast.
I'm about to do my cardio workout. Then I don't know how to deal with lunch since I've ran out of apples. I'll post after that. Or probably not, I got other things to deal with rather than this blog.
Later

Wow, work out.

It's 12:31 am. I guess this counts as the 3rd day.
I think feeling hungry really has an influence on my mood. But eh, whatever.
I've had apples, I had some soup thingy, and some pizza. However, I worked out twice today. I went out and tried to work out at a playground, so I think I evened out the pizza.
The idea of the apple thinger isn't so good. However, limiting my food intake to not such precarious levels isn't bad still.
I can still go for this. I'm sure I can.
I mean, what the hell, I don't feel sick, or tired, or dizzy. I just feel a bit hungry.
And when I work out or stuff, I stop feeling it. So, yeah, I don't think it's a bad thing.
I've also tried to have more water. I think I'm doing fine at it. Kind of clearing out my system.
I wonder what the end of this is gonna be like... =]

After workout

I's now 3:05ish.
I just finished the workout Macaquinho wrote down for me.
Today it's chest/upper muscles workout.
Consists of
20 wide push-ups and a super-set of lateral dumb bell raises, 1 minute break,
20 dips and a super-set of triceps extensions, another minute break,
and 8 handstand push-ups and a super-set of diamond push-ups.

That in 3 sets.
I attempted to keep short breaks between sets.
However, due to a severe lack of a dishwasher, I would simply do dishes during my break.
Dishes were done, my work out was done, and I feel great.
Somehow I feel a lot lighter, and it's just the second day.
I feel like breathing is a bit easier, for some reason.

Oh, I cheated for breakfast. I had an apple and a black coffee.
But still, I feel good.
It is on!

Day 2

Today I woke up with no encouragement to continue on apples. But since I got no serious physical activities to do today, might as well stick to it.
Last night was okay. I can't say I made up for not playing on Saturday, but I did what I could.
I got on the scale today. It seems there's a huge overnight weightloss, but probably from me not eating much. I did know I was gonna eat less as soon as I started eating only one thing.
Now that I'm doing this, I might as well try some other things on me to learn more about my body.
This is the second day. And it is on.

Unexpected roda.

Today there was a roda at C.M. Lua Branca's academy.
I didn't want to go to it. I had tons of things going on. However, I had to try and make up for my failure on Saturday.
I got an okay feedback on my aggressive game. But what the heck, the blog isn't about that.
I thought I could try to run on apples all day. However, I already failed at it, which leads me to the conclusion that I cannot run on apples for the entire day. I can, however, replace junk food for it.
I had a bowl of noodles before that class. And man, that was the best thing I could have done.
So, today, I had one major meal instead of 3, and apples.
Regardless, I felt lighter. I could do more. I could try more.
Like after any workout, I had my protein, and not exactly apples.
I think I learned today something important: I can't run on apples, and I need food.
That changes the idea of this. Not replacing food for apples, but rather replacing junk for apples.
And working out at home (easy workouts) on apples.
That way this may work.

Day 1. Started with the wrong foot.

Well, what's left of day one.
I woke up kinda lateish, but good for a mostly-unemployed guy my age.
I woke up, turned around and went back to sleep.
That's normal, right?
I woke up thinking of the apples.
How awesome it was gonna be after this is done and whatever!
However, my reasoning didn't get too far. I was supposed to live on apples and tea.
I had the encouragement, I had the goal set, the time was here, everything was ready, except I had no fucking apples.
No biggie! I could have tea until I went out and grabbed some apples.
I wasn't counting on the fact that the pomegranate tea I had was going to taste rather like toe-sweat.
But it's cool. I drank my toe sweat and went to grab some apples.
Today it's gonna be my serious attempt of working out.
I have a capoeira roda in toronto, and I plan to attend and hopefully play while running on apples and tea.
I'm already on my 3rd apple.
I hadn't realized how different parts of the apple taste different.
Guess it's like chicken, right?
And potentially, people, right?
Just checking.
K, i'm off to do laundry. I'll update this after.

How it all started

The original idea was to make this blog before I started through with this.
I didn't think I had the time, but I had planned to go nuts for one week.
Now, the plan is to last for as long as I can.
This blog is gonna be my journey though starvation and attempts to work out.
Apples, apples, apples.
I am currently 5'10ish, and I weigh about 105 kilos according to my inaccurate scale. According to somebody else's scale, a digital one, i'm at 226 pounds I myself feel like I'm 200 kilos. I got tons of muscle, but I want to feel it.
The plan:
To lower my food intake and eat apples like mad instead of whatever junk I would eat normally, while still getting the necessary nutrients for me to not pass out while working out.
Through this, I want to lower my weight to about 180ish pounds.
More or less. It would be nice to get leaner.

The goals:
New clothes, hopefully smaller sizes.
Making my game better.
Proving to myself that I can achieve whatever I want if I set my mind for it.
Showing my brother that if I can change, so can he.

The rewards:
Going to GAP. their largest sizes are 38s. Or even Walmart. And getting new clothes.
A shirtless bike ride.
And some other things. I'll think of them after.
Oh and and and
An ice cream cone and a fuzzy blanket.
